What are IT Projects?
IT Projects are a collaboration between Information Technology and other University departments and MUST have a defined business owner who can identify the (business) requirements and success factors. The business owner is responsible, along with IT, for the success of the project. Additionally, to be considered, projects must have the approval of the dean or officer who is the project sponsor.
Project requests must meet BOTH requirements AND align with one or more of the University's Strategic Goals
- Work requiring more than thirty-five hours of IT resource time
- Cost > $5000 (not including IT staff resource time)
