Laptop Choice Program

The Laptop Choice Program equips all New School staff with a standard laptop, providing the flexibility to work seamlessly from home or on campus. Designed to meet the latest security and performance standards, this program ensures staff have up-to-date, reliable devices. Each laptop comes preloaded with a suite of standard applications, tailored to support the daily needs of employees, including tools for communication, collaboration, and productivity. These laptops are also fully compatible with the monitors and workstations available in the Admin Hub, enabling a smooth and connected work experience.

IT Central Support

At IT Central, we are dedicated to providing staff with the support they need to work efficiently and without disruption. Our team is available to assist with troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and offering guidance on a wide range of IT services. Whether you need help with software, hardware, network connectivity, or any other technology-related question, IT Central is your go-to resource.

We offer multiple support channels, including phone, email, and our support portal, ensuring that help is always just a click or call away. Our goal is to provide timely, expert assistance to keep you productive and connected.

Collaboration Tools

We provide a suite of collaboration tools to help you stay connected and productive, whether you’re working from home or in the office. Zoom enables seamless video conferencing, making virtual meetings and events easier than ever. Google Workspace (including Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Calendar) offers a powerful suite for communication, file sharing, and real-time collaboration.

With these tools, staff can collaborate effortlessly across locations, manage projects efficiently, and stay aligned with teams, all within a secure, integrated environment.

Secure Network Access

Whether you’re working remotely or on campus, staying connected is simple and secure. Our VPN (Virtual Private Network) ensures you can safely access internal resources and systems from anywhere, protecting sensitive data with advanced encryption.

On campus, the New School network provides fast, reliable, and secure connectivity, enabling seamless collaboration and access to the tools and services you need. With support for both wired and wireless connections, you can stay productive wherever you are.

Infrastructure Management

Our team manages the backend infrastructure that powers the services, tools, and applications staff rely on every day.
