Prior to downloading the VPN please read these notes
- Under normal circumstances, the VPN must be requested via an IT Central request form. Due to current circumstances, full-time faculty and staff can TEMPORARILY download the VPN without having to request access first.
- For special requests like student employees or consultants, supervisors must fill out the VPN Request Form.
- Under normal circumstances, all VPN users must complete the New School Information Security Awareness training course prior to downloading the VPN software. Due to current circumstances, we are TEMPORARILY allowing New School full-time faculty and staff to download the VPN before taking the training course. Please be advised that we do still expect you to take the training course and IT Central will be following up with you if you have not.
- Under normal circumstances, the VPN downloads available below cannot be used on personal devices; only those with New School provisioned devices are allowed to download the VPN software on their New School provisioned device. Due to current circumstances, we are TEMPORARILY allowing New School full-time faculty and staff to download the VPN on their personal devices.
- The VPN is a limited license product so only those who need the following programs should download the VPN.
- Tableau
- Banner System Access (Admin Pages)
- S-Drives (Network Share Drives)
- Perceptive
- Files on your office computer (Only available for Windows users)
