Your New School email is available on your mobile device using the official Gmail app or your device’s mail application (iOS only).

Setting up Gmail App for the First Time

  1. Download the Gmail app
  2. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app 
  3. Click Sign In
  4. Choose Google to add your New School account.
  5. Enter your New School email.
  6. Enter your NetID and New School password on the Single Sign-On screen.
  7. Verify your account with Duo multi-factor when prompted.
    • If you have not set up Duo, please follow the steps provided when prompted.
  8. You will then be logged into your New School account

Adding a New School Account to Gmail App

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app 
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose Google to add your New School account.
  5. Enter your New School email.
  6. Enter your NetID and New School password on the Single Sign-On screen.
  7. Verify your account with Duo multi-factor when prompted.
    • If you have not set up Duo, please follow the steps provided when prompted.
  8. You will then be logged into your New School account

Switching Between Accounts

Important: Messages in the Gmail app stay separate for each account.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app 
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap the account you want to use.

Remove an Account

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app .
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Manage accounts on this device > Remove from this device.

iOS Mail App

Adding a New School Account

  1. Go to settings
  2. Open the Mail settings
  3. Tap Accounts
  4. Tap Add Account
  5. Select Google
  6. Enter your New School email address and tap Next
  7. Enter your NetID and New School password on the Single Sign-On screen.
  8. Verify your account with Duo multi-factor when prompted.
    • If you have not set up Duo, please follow the steps provided when prompted.
  9. Tap Continue
  10. Tap Allow
  11. You will then be logged into your New School account

Android
