To keep our information safe, The New School requires that all employees, including student employees, use 2-Step Login when accessing certain university systems that may contain sensitive and/or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This additional layer of security ensures that even if your password information is compromised, there is a second step of verification to help prevent unauthorized account access.
We use Duo Security to implement employee 2-Step Login. To start, you must download and install the Duo app and enroll a device. Navigate to 2step.newschool.edu to enroll or manage your device(s). For a step-by-step guide, see How to Set Up Duo for 2-Step Login.
